Steam Trains

Liz was away for the weekend, so Leo had some extra daddy-time which we took advantage of by going to ride the scale steam trains in Tilden Park. Leo's favorite part was the tunnel (sorry, no pictures -- it was pitch black).

Leo refused to nap today. I told him I needed to do some work, and he needed to play by himself for a while. He was completely silent and this is what I came upon him doing. So cute!

Wednesday adventures

New scooter

Nama will appreciate that Leo requested his helmet before riding on the scooter. I tried to tell him it was ok not to wear it since we were indoors, but he insisted. This is his first time trying this thing out - he is so cautious! By the way, he says everything is "too ___" these days. (Today ice cream was "too cold" and he devoured it.) By "too hard," he really just means "hard." Which makes sense - it was his first time trying it!
