My uniform

I wear Sebastian around the house in the Moby a lot. It gives me 2 free hands to play with Leo. It's almost like I'm pregnant again!

Sebastian is one month old!

That's right, Sebastian is already one month old! He had his one month checkup today. He weighed in at 10 pounds, 10.5 ounces, which means on average he has gained 12 ounces a week for the past three weeks! He is in the 80th percentile for weight, length, and head size. I thought he looked big, and I felt like he had been eating a lot - I guess I was right! 

So far, Sebastian is a mellow, sleepy guy. He doesn't require much effort to soothe when he's upset, as long as we can put up with his grunty-ness, which there seems to be no stopping. He is his gruntiest at about 4 am - it sounds like we are sleeping with a warthog! So far, he is still waking up every 2.5 hours to eat. Luckily, he falls right back to sleep after a good burp or two.

We are still waiting for his first smile. But as the video last week proves, he already rolled over from his tummy to his back! Sebastian also had his first bottle (of breastmilk) last week - he liked it just fine, and has proceeded to chug every bottle we have given him since. He chugs while nursing with equal fervor.  

It feels so wonderful to have such a healthy, strong guy!
