Last nap

Leo's last nap at 224 Liberty St. Look how relaxed he is!

A beautiful day in the neighborhood

We had a nice lingering morning together as a family while the movers packed up our stuff. Tartine and Dolores Park, how we will miss you!!
Ham and cheese croissant for Derek, chocolate croissant for me, bread pudding for Leo...mmmm.
On the big kid swings.
This is one of many things at the park that it seemed like Leo would never be able to do without hurting himself. He was basically running along this ledge.
Ice cream at Bi Rite including my first-ever sundae from there!
Dinner at Delfina pizza. Leo loves their meatballs.

Mom's group

We had another sweet send off with a joint birthday party for all of the babies in our mom's group. About half of them have turned 2 already - Leo is one of the youngest. It was another amazing day in Dolores Park - San Francisco is really romancing us with the weather lately!

Also, I shouldn't call it mom's group because all of the dads were there too!
At first Leo wanted us to "take the cheese off" his cupcake. Then he realized it's the best part!

Business Casual

Leo insisted on wearing this tie all day on Friday with Tara. Even better: there was a matching pocket square that he kept in his pocket!

Sad week

It was really, really hard to say goodbye to Isabel on Thursday and Tara on Friday. Leo and Isabel had fun playing with her new easel together, and Friday Tara took Leo on an awesome adventure down to the Ferry Building to have lunch and see birds, boats, trains, cars, and more! Leo is a lucky little dude to have been able to share their company over the past year. I can't imagine who he would be without their influence. Thanks to them, he is a highly verbal, well-mannered little guy who pretends he doesn't like the affection when I'm there, but there's no denying the love in these photos!

SF Bucket List

We did the most touristy things today on our second-to-last weekend here. We took Leo on a cable car and followed it up with ice cream in Ghirardelli Square.
There's that "cheese" face again.

This is getting harder and harder to do.

Too focused on his ice cream to look up and say cheese.

My morning with Leo

We went to brunch just the two of us, something we have never done before, then went to Dolores Park along with everyone who has a kid in San Francisco.
Leo is getting very good at saying "cheese."
Best attraction at the park.

More wedding photos

These were taken by our friend Alex on his super-awesome camera.
With Ella, the flower girl.

With Matt, the groom, who Derek has known since kindergarten!

Leo is smiling because Tara was dancing around with Dougie behind the photographer!

Fun with Tara

Tara watched Leo overnight for the first time while we stayed over at the wedding. He had a great time! They went out for breakfast AND ice cream!
