My question is, can he get himself up off the ground yet? Or does he still have to be put into standing position first? Easier for you if the latter, but that must be so frustrating for him!
The answer is no, he cannot get himself to standing UNLESS he can climb up one of us. He is getting very good at that, and my guess is that it will not be long before he can pull himself up on any number of inanimate objects.
